We don't list hundreds of schools. We select only the programmes we trust — from fifteen years of living, raising children, and building relationships in Switzerland.
swiss-academy.jpは、スイスの学校を「検索」するサービスではありません。現地に暮らし、自らの子どもをスイスで育て、実際に学校を訪問・体験してきた者が、「これなら自信を持って日本のご家族に勧められる」と判断した学校だけをご紹介するキュレーションサービスです。
大手留学エージェントのように多くの選択肢を並べることはしません。その代わりに、一校一校について深く、正直にお伝えします。
swiss-academy.jp is not a school search engine. It is a curation service — run by someone who lives here, raised children here, and has personally visited and evaluated every school we recommend. We introduce only the schools we would confidently send our own children to.
We don't list many options. Instead, we tell you honestly and deeply about each one.

スイスには数多くのインターナショナルスクールや語学学校があります。しかし、日本の中高生が短期間でも充実した体験を得られる環境は限られています。私自身が二人の息子をスイスで育て、実際にいくつもの学校を見てきた経験から、本当に良いと思える学校だけをご案内することにしました。

Switzerland has many international schools and language institutes. But the environments where a Japanese teenager can have a genuinely enriching short stay are fewer than people think. Having raised two sons here and visited many schools personally, I made a deliberate choice: to recommend only what I truly believe in.

大阪外国語大学英語科を卒業後、ブルネイ日本大使館に勤務。APEC会議では日本の外務大臣の伴侶リエゾンを担当。その後ジュネーブ日本領事館勤務、小泉政権下のASEAN会合ではブルネイ外務大臣リエゾンも務めました。
米国留学中に建築家坂茂事務所でのボランティアを経て、正式採用。パリ事務所でメッツ市のポンピドーセンター建設プロジェクトと事務所運営に携わりました。
現在はジュネーブ近郊に在住し、栄養士としてコンサルティングを行うかたわら、循環器内科医である夫のクリニック運営を担当。二人の息子をスイスで育て、自らのこどもを何度もサマーキャンプに送り出してきた経験を持ちます。
Asako Kimura
Nutritionist · 15 years in Switzerland · Mother of two
After graduating from Osaka University of Foreign Studies, Asako joined the Japanese Embassy in Brunei, serving as liaison during APEC. She later worked at the Japanese Consulate-General in Geneva and at the ASEAN summit under PM Koizumi.
During studies in the US, she began at Shigeru Ban Architects and was hired to the Paris office, contributing to the Pompidou Centre Metz project.
Today she lives near Geneva, working as a nutritionist and managing her husband's cardiology clinic. She has raised two sons in Switzerland and has sent her own children to camps many times.

Every school we recommend meets all of the following criteria. If any school falls short, we stop recommending it.
私自身が実際に学校を訪問し、施設・スタッフ・雰囲気を確認しています。パンフレットだけの判断はしません。 I have visited every school in person to see the facilities, meet the staff, and feel the atmosphere. No judgements from brochures alone.
未成年の子どもを預かる環境として、24時間体制のスタッフ管理と緊急連絡体制を確認しています。 For a school hosting minors, we verify 24-hour staff supervision and clear emergency communication procedures.
大規模な詰め込み授業ではなく、生徒一人ひとりに目が届く環境を重視しています。 We prioritise environments where each student receives individual attention, not large-scale factory programmes.
言語の壁で困ったとき、日本語でサポートを受けられる体制が整っているか確認しています。 We check that Japanese-speaking support is available when students face language difficulties.
在校生・卒業生の声、そして現地コミュニティでの評価を継続的に確認しています。 We continuously monitor feedback from current and former students, as well as local community reputation.
最終的な基準はシンプルです。自分の子どもをこの学校に預けるか——YESと言えない学校はご案内しません。 The final criterion is simple: would I send my own child here? If the answer is not a clear yes, we don't recommend it.
